Mohamed Elkersh, M.D.
Dr. Elkersh is a board-certified pain management physician from The American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. In 1998, he completed his surgical internship at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Florida and in 2002 he completed his Anesthesiology residency at the University of Miami. He then completed Pain Medicine fellowship training at Harvard Medical School.
Artemus Flagg II, M.D.
Dr. Artemus Flagg II grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. He served as a Battalion Flight Surgeon and Brigade Flight Surgeon during his combat tour in Iraq with the United States Army, 1st Cavalry Division. Following his combat tour he was promoted to the rank of Major and appointed as the Chief Flight Surgeon and Chief of the Physical Exam Section at the DiLorenzo TRICARE Health Clinic.
Barrett Johnston, M.D.
Dr. Barrett Johnston grew up on the Westbank of New Orleans. Since moving to the east coast to complete his residency in Anesthesiology and further enhance his medical training with a Fellowship in Pain Medicine, both at Harvard Medical School, he has longed to return home to Louisiana. Advanced Pain Institute welcomes Pain Management Dr. Johnston.
Steve Lee, M.D.
Pain Management Dr. Steve Lee is board-certified from The American Board of Anesthesiology in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He grew up in New York and is a graduate of the Washington University in St Louis School of Medicine. He completed both his residency and fellowship training at Harvard Medical School. He was excited to move to Louisiana to join the team of physicians at API.
Kelly E. Boussert, M.D.
C. Ann Conn, MD
Dr. Conn is a Northshore native who is fellowship trained and triple Board Certified in Neurology, Pain Management, and Headache Medicine. She received a BS in Chemical Engineering and attended medical school at LSU Medical School in New Orleans. Dr. Conn trained at Charity Hospital completing her fellowship at LSU Medical School and is an Assistant Clinic Professor in the LSU Anesthesia Department.
David J. Dykes Jr FNP-C
David Dykes earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University of Hammond Louisiana, and earned his Master of Science degree from the University of South Alabama of Fairhope Alabama with a specialty in Family. He is board-certified from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Ashley Bratton, FNP-C
Ashley Bratton is a native of Hammond, La. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in family. She is board certified as an Advanced Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is an active member of the Louisiana Association of Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She has several years’ experience in surgical nursing as well as interventional pain management nursing.
Courtney Coyle, PA
Courtney Coyle is a board certified physician assistant with the National Commission on Certifications of Physician Assistants. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Emmanuel College in Boston, MA and continued on to Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA where she completed a Masters in Health Sciences. In addition to pain management, Courtney also has experience in internal medicine.
Laurie Stumpf, FNP-C
As a native to Louisiana, Laurie Stumpf spent her formative years in the New Orleans area. Her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree was earned at Southeastern Louisiana University. Prior to graduate school, Laurie specialized in Critical Care in local hospitals. She pursued her Masters of Science degree at the University of South Alabama and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Rochelle Reech, PA
Rochelle Reech is a board-certified Physician Assistant who received her Bachelor of Science in psychology from Louisiana State University and Master of Medical Science from Franciscan University. She has several years experience in pain management. She enjoys reading and spending time with her husband and two young daughters.
